HEY EVERYONE!!!!

Well, it has been ForEVER, since I have updated this but I'm hoping I can start doing it a little more often now....keep in mind I said I hope! :) I did want to update everyone on the girls and how we are doing.

Olivia turned 4 years old over the summer is continues to grow like a little weed! She starts K4 this year and will be returning to Little Paws Preschool at Smiths Station Baptist Church. She is very excited about that, especially since the teacher told her they will have a butterfly garden in their room. We were extremely blessed to have found a lady that lives 2 houses down from the preschool to watch Olivia when she gets out of school each day. She watches teacher's/principal's children and they all go to Little Paws with Olivia. It couldn't have worked out any better!

Julia started going to Lakewood Baptist Church, Child Development Center which also does preschool. The church is right down the road from where I work so it makes me feel better that she's close to me. She has a very good teacher and aide and only has 5 other children in her class. She is getting adjusted to not being with her sister but she is enjoying it so far!

Kevin is still on the motor squad and enjoying it very much..other than riding in this heat. I will be teaching 6th grade at the Intermediate School here in Phenix City. I have a Reading class and will also be co-teaching for other subjects. I can't wait for the school year to begin which is this Monday (yikes)!

We have been so busy this summer. We were able to go to the beach in April, go camping for the 4th of July, have Victoria (Kevin's sister) visit us, and of course work! :) Here are some pictures that were over the summer and hopefully I can get more up soon!

Olivia's 1st day of Pre-K!!
That's right, our baby girl started school today! It's such a bittersweet time, but she was so excited! She has been asking me everyday for about a month if it's time to go to school yet and this morning when I woke up her and told her it's time to get dressed for school, she looked at me and said "today?!?". I held her in my arms as she was waking up and whispered in her ear, "Momma's baby girl is growing up and starting school today." As she patted my face she said, "But Momma, I'll still be your baby..I'm still little." Gosh, the sweetest words I have ever heard other than "I love you", absolutely melted my heart! As we waited in the car line for them to get her out, she was just so thrilled to be there. She never acted nervous, scared, nothing..just raring to go! So, as Julia and I wait for it to turn 11:45 today, everyone say a prayer that she has a great day..or year for that matter! :) Here are some pics of this morning! Wow! I didn't realize how long it's been since I've posted anything on here! Sorry everyone! I will try my best to catch back up and post things that happened over the summer. Here are a few randoms we took the other day playing outside.

OLIVIA TURNED 3 YEARS OLD!!!

Gosh...it brings tears to my eyes just saying it! Our baby girl turned 3 years old on the 6th of June. Time flies!!! We had a little birthday party at our house with her friends and then traveled to Thomaston to have a family party with my parents and the rest of the family. We had such a good time at both parties and the theme, of course, was Princess!

These are just a few random pictures from the past couple of weeks. My brother was able to spend a day in Thomaston before he left for California so we headed there to play and visit. We also went to Carson's birthday party, who is one of Olivia's friends.

Beach Trip 2009

In May, we were able to see my brother and his family in Panama City. We were so excited since we were getting to meet Baylor for the 1st time and see Hayden again! Olivia loved the beach, as usual and Julia wasn't too sure about all the sand that kept getting on her. She wanted to be in the pool more than anything.
